The spring exhibition of 2019 already started on Thursday with the premiere of the documentary The Bronze Story. Guests, the filmmakers, others involved and Jos Dirix himself were the spectators at the first showing. Turmoil and emotion for many. Enthusiasm all around. Anticipation for the television broadcast soon to come.

The guests a day later, members of a business club, were also impressed by the sneak preview of the documentary. This network club was received in the ateliers of Wilma van Duuren en Jos Dirix. Both artists showed their work and gave a guided tour of the ateliers and the sculpture garden. Interesting conversations about the symbiosis of creativity and successful entrepreneurship concluded this inspiring meeting.

The atelier exhibition of Saturday and Sunday were both more than successful. The title ‘Art in Focus’ covered it all. The live casting of bronze by the master casters of Custers, the music by Smooth Operators and Vinjosh’s wines all together created the coziest of atmospheres. The next atelier exhibitions are scheduled for December. In the mean time you can always make an appointment to visit the atelier and the sculpture garden.
